We've seen many changes over the years, yet our core values remain unchanged: we offer real-life choices for people with disabilities, their families and supporters.
Experience counts -we have a dedicated management team and support staff, some of who've been with Distinctive Options since its inception. The focus is always on you as an individual and the support that you need to live your best life possible.
We specialise in group based activities, individualised supports, pathways to employment and travel adventures.

Group activities
Working together to build real life skills, our group based activities provide great opportunities for social interaction and personal development.
Activities are designed to build skills for life, to participate in the community and foster ongoing social connections.
All participants are encouraged and supported to have a say in how group based activities are run, with choice and control being a key tenet of our service.
From playing team sports to building skills in literacy, arts, and event management or enjoying cooking, self advocacy and volunteering opportunities, you have the opportunity to enjoy a great variety of activities to suit your wants and needs.

Independent living support
With Individual support from our dedicated and experienced team of support workers, you can choose what kind of support you need and when. Do you need support with personal care, attending appointments or even joining a group activity?
We will work with you and your budget to ensure you receive the Individual Support you need.

Social Enterprise
Are you keen to work outdoors or do you rather see yourself producing gourmet delicacies or serving customers in a busy cafe? Perhaps you'd like to become a beekeeper and help produce our own DO Honey?
Distinctive Options offers a number of supported employment opportunities to help you build confidence and skills in the workplace.
Our social enterprises encompass a variety of industries, including hospitality, gourmet food production, bee keeping, garden maintenance and trades' services.
