Priscilla

I have been coming to DO Noweyung for over 20 years and love being a part of the Colour Gang program.  

The Colour Gang have supported me to become an established artist with my own distinctive style. I paint happy themes of the underwater world, the beachside, country scenes and a range of all nature. Whatever makes my day brighter is used as inspiration for my colourful, happy art.  

I am turning my art into a profitable business.  Last year I opened a shop/gallery in the nearby town of Bruthen.  “Smile, Sparkle Shine” gallery displays and sells the wonderful works of art that me produce.  The gallery is open on Thursdays and Fridays. 

Art is only part of Priscilla’s journey with Distinctive Options Noweyung.  Priscilla moved into DO’s Residential Supported Independent Accommodation units in 2014.  

Priscilla has her own unit with support staff close by to support her to live independently. Priscilla also uses DO Noweyung Independent Living Support(ILS) to assist her to working at a local op shop.

Priscilla loves helping others and giving back to the community.
