Our Outreach program provides one-on-one support for individuals to access a broad range of activities in the home and the community. We match you with a qualified staff member who suits your needs and preferences to ensure you always feel comfortable. Support may be ongoing or just as required by you.
Types of activities that can be provided include travel training, study support, personal care, leisure and recreation, access to community events and support to attend appointments. Holiday programs are available based on sufficient need. Overnight support and 24 hour support are also available.
We currently provide Outreach to individuals in the following areas: Bacchus Marsh, Bendigo, Brookfield, Bullengarook, Daylesford, Deer Park, Epping, Gisborne, Kyneton, Macedon, Maryborough, Melton, Mickleham, New Gisborne, Newport, Preston, Riddells Creek, Romsey, St Albans, Sunbury, Taylors Hill, Williamstown and Woodend.
The categories we offer are:
- Assistance with self-care activities & personal tasks of daily life to develop skills
- Domestic Assistance – house cleaning and other household activities
- Social & Community participation – Assistance to access community, social & recreational activities
- Capacity Building – Individual skills development & training, includes public transport training & support
Outreach is available to all ages. All staff have relevant skills and experience and have undergone a National Police Check. We also require all staff members working with children to hold a current Working With Children Check.

How To Enrol
To enrol your child, please read the parent handbook and complete the enrolment form. The form may be submitted via email to the Educational Leader, sent to the relevant school office or dropped off at the Distinctive Options office. If you have any questions or would like more information, please contact the relevant Educational Leader.
