Virtual Reality
Imagine the feeling of sitting in the jungle surrounded by gorillas, flying above Uluhru in a hot air balloon, or sitting in the front row of a cabaret show. Our immersive VR activities allow you to experience a range of adventures from around the world. By investing in such technology we aim to be at the forefront of VR services for people with diverse-abilties.
Film Making
Everyone has a story to tell. Film making requires strong communication and teamwork skills, as well as learning how to operate a camera and add sound and special effects in the editing suite. See your film on the big screen at festivals such as The Other Film Festival and the Having a Say conference.
Photography
Like Film making, photography requires strong communication skills, but also allows you to express yourself individually through your chosen style and genre. Enter your photos in local competitions and create lasting memories.
Digital Art and Technology
Learn how to make a PowerPoint presentation, then let your imagination loose with opportunities to create animated characters or scenes, before going on to learn the basics of coding. The possibilities are endless as we develop this exciting new activity together.
Assistive Technology
We will support you with your individual technological needs, such as using mobility aids or communication apps. We’ll work alongside your allied health provider to ensure we understand how to support you safely and effectively at all times.
We can also express ourselves in new ways when using technology for communication. We have the skills and the tools to support you to express yourself in everyday settings or for creative and self-advocacy outcomes.
